6 REASONS YOU SHOULDN'T WORK WITH ME
I could sit here all day discussing the reasons we should work together but I thought it'd be more fun to tell you why you SHOULDN'T work with me.
Reason 1: I'll make you cry. And then I'll cry.
We go into some deep shit. Because in order to transform your mindset, to increase your confidence, let go of fear and worry and reduce your anxiety, we need to get to the bottom of what's causing these feelings. And that can be hard. Talking through memories from your past and opening up about situations you'd rather forget is emotional, it can make you feel drained and it can make you cry. But that's ok. I promise.
Afterwards, you'll feel as though a weight's been lifted. You'll feel positive about the future, happier in your own skin and content that you're beginning to create a mindset that allows you to live the life of your dreams.
And because I can't think about someone crying without crying myself, I'll be sat there dabbing my eyes too so no need to feel self conscious.
"Rebecca has helped me deal with my own personal shit like depression, anxiety and low self worth. I’m actually not sure where I would be at right now if it wasn’t for her. She’s really easy to talk to and I have legit cried on calls with her (repeatedly, sorry Rebecca!) " - Lisa, Pinterest Manager
Reason 2: I'll prove you wrong.
Nobody likes being told they're wrong, do they? But if you keep doing the same things and thinking the same way, you'll always achieve the same results. And right now, those results aren't what you want. So instead, I'll prove you wrong and show you that with the right mindset tools, with a mindset routine that excites you and regular accountability, you can achieve anything you want to.
"When I heard about Rebecca's 30-day Voxer coaching program, I was intrigued but I thought that there was no way she could help me more than I could help myself. My mindset was completely and exclusively focused right where I wanted it, on my business. Within 8 hours I witnessed 3 people that I admire state how mindset has played such an important part in their journey and quickly retreated and asked Rebecca to take me on.
Working with Rebecca has allowed me to see how my wellbeing directly affects my business, and that it's vital that I put myself first. I'm amazed at how this program has lead to an increase in confidence in running my business, and most importantly, how I've been able to portray this to business owners as I pitch for bigger and better contracts." - Katie, Social Media Manager
Reason 3: I'll make you do things that scare you.
The thought of leaving our comfort zone is often more scary than the actual leaving it. We ask ourselves "What if?" and create weird + wonderful stories of how things might go wrong if we attempt something new. Being scared is a good thing. Being scared means you're moving forward, you're edging closer to what you want to achieve. So I'll encourage you to do those scary things. Whether you need to put your prices up or ask for a raise at work or whether you need to get fall in love with who you are so you can start showing up online or having sex with the lights on, I'll get you to leave your comfort zone. Scary? Yes. Necessary? Absolutely.
And I'll never ask you to do anything I haven't already done myself.
"Chatting with Rebecca really gave me the direction & confidence I needed to just do the damn thing. She is so kind, friendly and helpful and always made sure all my questions were answered. She helped me come up with a timeline of things I needed to reach my goals and she reassured me that I was stronger than my fears. You need to work with her!" - Angela, Pinterest Manager & Content Marketer
Reason 4: I won't let you make excuses.
It's easy to blame others - our parents, our teachers, the client who didn't pay us, the friend who takes advantage but at what point do we say "enough is enough, I have to take responsibility"? When we work together, you can forget the excuses. In order to expand, in order to grow as a person, we have to take full responsibility for our actions - past, present and future. I come from a divorced family, I've had my heart broken, I've been mentally abused and physically taken advantage of - but I choose not to let the shitty experiences define me. And I won't let you allow your shitty experiences to define you. Tough love but love all the same.
"I would definitely recommend working with Rebecca to boost you confidence, knowledge and to just have someone who knows what they are talking about because she has literally been EXACTLY where you are now. She’s asked the same questions and experienced the same things as you. There are answers you’ll find that you didn’t realise you wanted to know the answer to." - Kimberley, Social Media Coach
Reason 5: I'll give you homework.
YAWN. Does anyone actually enjoy homework? When we work together, we don't just have a call and that's it till the next session. Nope, you get homework 🙃 I'll encourage you to complete certain tasks and we'll set goals for what you need to achieve by the following call. This not only keeps you accountable but leaves you feeling less overwhelmed than thinking "OMG I'VE GOT 100 THINGS TO DO". And I don't just mean I'll be setting business tasks (for those who don't own a business). The homework will be focused on mindset work and whatever you need support with that week.
"I was really getting stuck in a rut with my business, but I can now finally see some hope that I can actually make it work and be successful. she is so friendly and has a genuine approach of wanting to help you. I trust her fully with helping me to make decisions and giving me the push when needed. I literally cannot thank Rebecca enough for everything she's helped me with so far." - Abby, Technical Assistant
Reason 6: I'll make you change the way you think.
This'll be hard. When your mind has been programmed to think a certain way and believe certain things, changing it takes time, persistence and work. I'm never going to tell you it's gonna be easy and that all you have to do is show up for a call every 10 days. That's not the case. But the thing is, when we're working together you'll be excited to put in the work because you'll start to notice changes even after our first session. You'll experience resistance of course but that's part of the process. Soon you'll be keen for the resistance because you'll understand that it means you're about to achieve a new breakthrough.
"I thought I would give you an update because I totally think the work I've done with you has helped me so much! 11 weeks into my new job and I feel like a completely different teacher to the one before...I mean I actually believe I am a good teacher and as a result I've has excellent feedback from the headteacher! And, today, I had to be in charge of meeting a guest speaker for our training day! Once upon a time this would have made me feel sick with fear but today I did it without an issue!" - Dominique, Teacher
So, there you have it.
Working with me isn't easy.
You won't get to give excuses, I'll make you cry and encourage you to do the things that scare you.
But I'll do those things because I care.
I want to help you.
I want you to have breakthroughs, to fall in love with yourself, to increase your confidence.
Because I know that once upon a time, I was you.
And now I'm here.
I'm still me.
But I'm the best version of me.
I'm in charge of my life.
Not the anxiety, the fear, the worry, the 'what ifs'.
Me.
And you get to be in charge of yours too.
You get to create the life of your dreams.
You know you shouldn't want to work with me but let's be honest, you really do.
